Commerx Releases AlertMeFirst Version 5.0
New features & functionality in version 5.0 include:
- Redesigned & revamped account administration area, with new interface and navigation
- WPS (weekly performance stats) reports are now colour-coded and display the actual down time in minutes
- New time zone setting (per device) and alert contact, which allow for easier local time matching
- Improved site monitoring accuracy by means of improved cross-monitoring engine failure detection and backup engine activation
- Reduced false alerts rate caused by intermittent connection problems at the monitoring site
- Previously separate alert and trace route messages have been combined into one alert message showing both sets of information
- Consolidated a number of previously-separate configurations with a centralized one
- Improved backup mail server support for sending alerts from inside the engine
